PROJECT TITLE: DEVELOPMENT OF STRATEGIC SUPPLIER CAPACITY AT IRON-TECH ZRT

TOTAL CONTRACTED SUPPORT: 239,294,512 HUF

SUPPORT INTENSITY: 50%

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Since the beginning, we have been conducting our metal industry activities in Szigetvár, currently operating at two production sites. Iron-Tech Zrt. applied for the project as an independent SME supplier. Our operations are based on a partnership with DENSO Gyártó Magyarország Kft., according to the signed cooperation agreement.

The objective of the project is to ensure and further enhance our competitiveness, which requires the implementation of modern technological solutions. The main goal was to increase machine efficiency by reducing cycle time, thereby achieving higher production output. As part of the planned Industry 4.0 implementation, an operational network was established across the entire production site, and a comprehensive software system was introduced for numerous devices. This enables us to provide a complete solution that meets DENSO’s requirements.

The equipment purchased under the project was installed in a newly constructed technological hall. With the implementation of this development, we have increased the production volume of our existing products.

As part of the project preparation, we conducted discussions with our partner from the Automotive Division (Denso Gyártó Magyarország Kft.) regarding future products, assessed the needs of end users, and planned our capacity expansion project accordingly. Additionally, we analyzed the latest metal processing technologies to ensure that our production meets current requirements and keeps pace with technological advancements in the machinery and automotive industries. Based on this, we selected the following equipment for our investment.

PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION ELEMENTS:

  • 2 HELLER machining centers
  • Construction of a new production hall
  • Implementation of a 12-module CIMCO software system
  • Execution of a training package to enhance employees’ skills
  • Procurement of 2 roll-up marketing tools
  • 1 digital communication accessibility system

The technology applied in the machines acquired through the project represents the most advanced solutions available. The core technology is already well-known to our company, as we possess significant production capacities based on this technology.

The project is implemented within the Széchenyi 2020 program.
